To find the right power level and ensure the ideal solution for your boat it is essential to consider the following parameters, hull shape, boat length, freeboard, operational area (coast or inland waters), wind force and boat weight.

Mounting:
The EXTURN bow and stern thruster is mounted outside of the hull, ideally (optimal rotation angle and efficiency) on the outermost position of the boat’s bow or stern. It is mounted by one threaded bolt which is designed as a hollow shaft and serves as the cable run. This bolt is supplied with a special pressure-tight sealing which closes the drilled hole automatically and permanently.

An included mounting kit gives EXTURN the required stability, prevents twisting and guaranties simple and fast mounting on any boat type. Due to no GRP work (no drying periods!) EXTURN can be mounted within one day.
